La Rosetta is a very nice hotel with a perfect location right in the center of Perugia. All you need to see is within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and cosy and the staff is extremely nice. In all, our stay at La Rosetta exceeded our expectations and it would be my first choice when I go back to Perugia.

This hotel is very well located in the centre of Perugia.
The hotel is quite old and rather dreary. Our room faced onto a narrow street and was quite dark. The street was noisy at night. The decor was rather depressing and the bathroom was a very strange structure within the room that ruined its appearance.

This hotel is not worth the vaule. No air condition, at hot night u have to open windows and let mosquitoes come into your room. Even I stayed at 3 floor, its still very noisy....till 4am...I Really cant sleep! And the facilities are not really 4-star standard, very disappointed!!!

The service given by the front desk staff was extraordinary. My Italian is only rudimentary, but they all spoke English very well, and went out of their way to provides us with services that made our stay enjoyable. For example, we were going to an evening concert about a kilometer from the hotel. The desk clerk on duty suggested that, when it was time to return to the hotel, we call the desk and they would arrange for a taxi to pick us up. This was certainly much easier than either walking back (Perugia has some very steep hills) or trying to find a taxi on our own.
Well, the weekend crowds in Piazza Italia can be a bit noisy. The windows in the hotel room kept out most of the noise, but not all. But this was really a minor problem.

The location made exploring the historic center convenient, just a short walk from vibrant attractions. The room was surprisingly spacious and clean, with charming decor that blended modern amenities with classic touches. Breakfast stood out with warm bread, fresh fruit, and delicious scrambled eggs. The absence of a kettle in the room was a bit of a letdown, and staff at check-out mistakenly mixed up the bill, which caused some confusion.

The triple room we booked was spacious and airy with a nice marble bathroom. Breakfast was good and had a relaxed atmosphere. Hotel breakfast coffee is always ghastly but one can always have tea !
